Once you set up the hosting and domain name, you can very easily connect it to WordPress.org through your Cpanel in the hosting account. Once you have it set up, then you can pick any number of professional themes, I recommend these WordPress themes for the most flexibility. Then you can start installing some basic plugins and start adding your content and you are in business. Of course there are more details to this whole process, but this will get you started right now.
